We are Friendship Force Long Island, the only Friendship Force chapter in the New York metropolitan area. Our members reside in Long Island's Nassau and Suffolk Counties and Queens.

Friendship Force is an international cultural and home hospitality program. It's goal is to promote international understanding, friendship and world peace through home-stay exchanges.

Members travel together to another city, in the USA or internationally, and stay as the guest of a local member in their home. The itinerary is planned by the local club.

In turn, Long Island members welcome international and domestic visitors into our homes, sharing meals, conversation, and the best sights and experiences of Long Island and New York City.

There are Friendship Force chapters in over 60 countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Brazil, Canada, The United Kingdom, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, India, many locations in the USA, and many more, A full list can be found here.
